Fordham Manor: Man Stabbed in Head with Screwdriver on MTA Bus

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred on an MTA bus in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx.

 

Police said on Monday, April 8, at around 2.10 p.m., the victim, a 60-year-old man, was aboard the MTA Bx22 bus in the vicinity of 361 East Fordham Road, when an unidentified person engaged in a verbal dispute with him, which escalated into a physical altercation.

They said the person stabbed the victim in the head with a screwdriver, EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, and the suspect fled the location on foot, eastbound on East Fordham Road to parts unknown.

 

Police said the suspect is described as a male with a light-complexion and a medium build. They said he was last seen wearing a gray jacket, tan pants, brown shoes, a blue bag, and a gray hat.

On March 12, as reported, a 26-year-old man was assaulted on a Bx2 bus in Fordham Heights.
