The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought for questioning in connection to a theft that occurred aboard an MTA bus in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Tuesday, March 18, at around 6.30 p.m. inside a BX12 bus traveling eastbound on Fordham Road, a 39-year-old female victim was approached by an unidentified individual. They said the suspect stole a cell phone from the victim’s left jacket pocket and fled southbound on Grand Concourse on foot. “No injuries were reported as a result of this incident,” police said.
They said the suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a black, North Face bubble jacket, a white hoodie, a multi-colored baseball hat, and sunglasses.
