Fordham Manor: Man Sought for Stabbing and Robbing 23-Year-Old Man Inside Van

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor.

 

Police said that on Sunday, Aug. 18, at around 9.45 p.m., a 23-year-old male victim was inside a Nissan van, parked in front of 305 East Kingsbridge Road, with the unidentified suspect, when the suspect stabbed the victim with a sharp object multiple times. They said he then robbed the victim of some cash before exiting the vehicle and fleeing eastbound on East 188th Street to parts unknown. “The victim was removed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition,” police said.

According to police, the suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a black backpack, and white and black sneakers.
