Fordham Manor: Man Sought for Allegedly Stealing Woman’s Bag Aboard Bx12 Bus

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached media, who they say is wanted in connection to a grand larceny that occurred in Fordham Manor.

 

Police said that on Saturday, July 27, at around 11.20 p.m., a 40-year-old female victim was on a BX12 MTA bus in the vicinity of East Fordham Road and Valentine Avenue. They said an unidentified person approached her and stole her bag which contained some credit cards. They said the thief then exited the bus and fled the location on foot, traveling southbound on Valentine Avenue, and that no injuries were reported.

They said the individual sought is described as male, has a light complexion, and was last seen wearing tan-colored clothing.
