The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photo who department officials say is sought for questioning in connection to an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police that on Thursday, June 1, at around 8.55 p.m., the victim, a 68-year-old man, was standing in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue and East 194th Street when he got into an argument with another person. The person allegedly punched the victim in the face and body multiple times, police said. “The individual was last seen fleeing southbound on Valentine Avenue on foot,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim was treated on scene by EMS for minor injuries.”
Police said the assailant is described as male, is around 30 years of age, has a light complexion and long hair, and was last seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.
