The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in transit aboard the D train in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Thursday, Aug. 10, at around 11.35 p.m., a 42-year-old male victim was asleep on a northbound D train at Fordham Road train station when another person approached him and stole his cell phone out of his hand. They said the thief exited the train and fled on foot to parts unknown. “The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident,” a police spokesperson said.
