The NYPD confirm that on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 2.48 a.m. in front of 2661 Briggs Avenue in Fordham Manor, a man was found lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his back.
He was later removed to St Barnabas Hospital at an unknown time.
Norwood News reached out to FDNY/EMS for more information on the timing of the transportation of the victim to hospital. We were only informed that 2:51 a.m. was the time the call was received in their system.
There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
