Fordham Manor: Male Sought after Cash Stolen from Older Adult

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photo and video who they say is sought in connection with the theft of money from an older adult in Fordham Manor.

 

Police said that on Saturday, Nov. 2, at around 2 p.m. in front of Grand Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road, an unidentified individual approached a 62-year-old male victim. They said the suspect snatched the victim’s bag which contained some currency and fled the location on foot, traveling southbound on Grand Avenue. They said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Police said the person sought is described as male, has a slim build and a medium complexion. They said he was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
