NYC Department of Housing, Preservation & Development (HPD) has launched an affordable housing lottery for units at 115 West 190th Street, a 4-story, mixed-use building in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx as reported by YIMBY.
Designed by Boaz M. Golani Architect and developed by Isra Holdings, the structure yields 37 residential units. Available on NYC Housing Connect, HPD’s online platform, are 12 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $87,429 to $198,250.
Units come with energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity, which includes electric stove, heat, and hot water.
At 130 percent of the AMI, one studio is available with a monthly rent of $2,550 for residents with incomes ranging from $87,429 to $146,900, eight one-bedroom units with a monthly rent of $3,013 for those on incomes ranging from $103,303 to $165,230, and three two-bedroom units with a monthly rent of $3,464 for those with incomes ranging from $118,766 to $198,250.
According to HPD, prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments, and applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than Feb. 16, though the dates are often extended.
