Fordham Manor: Armed Attempted Break-In

The NYPD confirm being alerted of an attempted robbery on Friday, May 14, at around 9.40 p.m. at 2526 Valentine Avenue in Fordham Manor in the 52nd precinct. A 54-year-old male victim reported to police that two men, unknown to the victim, who were wearing black hoodies and masks knocked on his door.

 

When he opened it, the men attempted to forcibly enter the location and one had a black firearm. The victim was able to close the door, preventing them from entering. Both men then fled the location. There is no additional description of the suspects, and the investigation remains ongoing.

 

The incident was reported on the Citizen’s App.
