The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance locating the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought for questioning in connection with a robbery and assault of an elderly woman that occurred in Fordham Manor.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, March 3, at around 4.45 a.m., opposite 327 East Kingsbridge Road, a 70-year-old woman was approached by an the unidentified male suspect who snatched her purse and elbowed her in the face, causing her tooth to fall out.
“Two good Samaritans at the scene chased down the suspect,” police said, and they recovered her purse. “The suspect fled on foot on Kingsbridge Road towards East 192 Street.”
