Fordham Manor: 53-Year-Old Man Assaulted with Metal Object

 

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance locating the person seen in the attached video who is sought for questioning in connection to an assault that occurred in Fordham Manor, located in the 52nd precinct.

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, June 1, at approximately 5.59 p.m., inside 2460 Davidson Avenue, a 53-year-old man got into a verbal dispute with the suspect.

 

“The victim left the location and was followed by the individual to 14 West Fordham Road [in University Heights],” police said. As the victim was walking in front of the location, police said the suspect approached him from behind and began hitting him around the head and hand with an unknown metal object.

 

According to the NYPD, the assailant fled the location to parts unknown. “EMS responded and transported the aided victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, in stable condition,” they added.
