The NYPD is appealing to the public for help identifying the two people seen in the attached photos who department officials say are sought in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor.
Police said that on Thursday, May 18, at around 10.45 p.m., a 41-year-old male victim was walking in a common area inside his apartment building located in the vicinity of East Kingsbridge Road and Morris Avenue when he was approached from behind by two people unknown to him.
“One of the individuals displayed a firearm at the victim while both individuals proceeded to forcefully remove the victim’s wallet,” police said. “The individuals fled the location in an unknown direction.”
Police said the victim was not physically hurt as a result of the incident. They said the two got away with $300 in cash, a debit card, and ID documents, the contents of the victim’s wallet. After fleeing the location, police said the two used the victim’s debit card at two different businesses and added that the total approximate value of the charges made on the victim’s card was $395.
