Update: Woman Sought for Questioning in Fordham Manor Murder Case

On Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 at approximately 2.20 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in front of 341 East 194th Street, in the 52nd precinct.

 

A preliminary investigation determined that a 36-year-old man was shot in the torso by an unknown individual at the location, and was transported via private means to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

 

There were no arrests, and the investigation was ongoing. The deceased was identified as Dashan Carver, 36, of Crotona Parkway in the Bronx.

 

On Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 the NYPD asked for the public’s assistance identifying a woman who is wanted for questioning regarding the incident. They also released some more details about the lead up to the shooting, saying Carver had been approached by unknown individuals, who discharged a firearm and shot him in the torso before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

 

A surveillance photo of one female individual who is wanted for questioning in relation to the incident is attached. It was taken from the vicinity of the incident location.
