On Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020 at approximately 4:39 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in front of East 196th Street and Grand Concourse in Fordham Manor, in the 52nd precinct.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 35-year-old man with a gun shot wound to the torso. The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The name of the deceased is pending family notification.
