The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred on the border of Fordham Manor and Fordham Heights.
Police said that on Saturday, Nov. 11, at around 12.50 p.m., a 37-year-old male victim was walking in the vicinity of East Fordham Road and Walton Avenue when he was approached by an unidentified man. “The individual [suspect] then struck the victim’s face with a firearm and fled the location on foot to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.”
Police said the suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, a medium build, and is approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall. They said he was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white shoes, and a multicolored backpack.
