Fordham Heights: Search for Suspect following Assault & Robbery

The NYPD is seeking help from the public locating the whereabouts of the unidentified man seen in the attached photo who is sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in Fordham Heights.

 

It was reported to police that on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 2.40 a.m., in front of 109 East 184th Street, the victim, a 43-year-old man, was approached by the unidentified assailant who demanded his cash. When the victim refused, the assailant punched him and knocked him to the ground, and stole the victim’s wallet which contained $2,500, as well as bank cards and his ID. The suspect fled on foot while the victim, who suffered pain and bruising, refused medical attention.
