Fordham Heights: Police Appeal for Help Identifying Man Sought for Subway Assault

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached media who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred at Fordham Road subway station.

 

Police said that on Monday, Aug. 28, at around 6.25 p.m., a 49-year-old male victim was standing on the southbound D train platform of the Fordham Road subway station, when an unidentified individual punched him in the face and then fled the train station on foot, heading to parts unknown. “The victim was transported by EMS to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition,” they said.
