Fordham Heights: One Sought for Assault on MTA Bus BX2

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection to an assault that took place aboard an MTA bus in Fordham Heights.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, March 12, at around 11.08 p.m., a 26-year-old male victim was on a BX2 MTA bus in the vicinity of Grand Concourse and East 183rd Street, when an unidentified male approached and punched him in the face. They said the person then exited the bus and fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on the Grand Concourse. There were no injuries reported.

Police said the person sought is described as male, has a medium complexion, is around 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing green pants, a green shirt, and a black jacket with white lining.
