The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred in Fordham Heights.
Police said that on Friday, Nov. 22, at around 7.50 p.m., a 30-year-old female victim was walking on the corner of Grand Concourse and Field Place when the unidentified male suspect fired multiple shots in the direction of four other unidentified males. “As a result, the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the right hip/upper thigh area,” a police spokesperson said. “The shooter then fled on foot to an unknown location.”
Police said the victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition and there were no other reported injuries arising from the incident.
They said the suspect is described as male, is estimated to be between 18 and 22 years of age, has a dark complexion, a medium build, and black braided hair. They said he was last seen wearing a black jacket, a dark blue sweater, dark blue sweatpants, and black sneakers.
