Fordham Heights: Man Sought for Groping Incident

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a forcible touching incident that occurred at the intersection of East Burnside Avenue and Walton Avenue on the border of Fordham Heights and Mt. Hope on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a groping incident that occurred on the border of Fordham Heights and Mt. Hope last month.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at around 1.10 a.m., a 26-year-old female victim was at the intersection of East Burnside Avenue and Walton Avenue when an unidentified individual approached her and touched her breast. They said the person then fled the location on foot, traveling westbound on East Burnside Avenue. No physical injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

 

The person sought is described as male, has a dark complexion, a medium build, and is around 5 feet, 7 inches tall.
