Fordham Heights: Man Sought for Armed Robbery of Man 34

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Fordham Heights.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at around 7.20 p.m., a 34-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified person in front of 2384 Grand Concourse. They said the suspect and the victim had agreed on Facebook Marketplace to meet up to follow through on the purchase of a chain. However, they said the suspect approached the victim, displaying a knife before snatching the chain from the victim’s hand.

 

Police said the suspect then fled the location in a gray Honda Accord, traveling northbound on the Grand Concourse to parts unknown. They said the victim did not sustain any injuries.

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a medium build, a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a black t-shirt, black jeans, and white sneakers.
