The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance locating the unidentified man seen in the attached photo and video who is sought in connection to an assault that occurred in Fordham Heights, located in the 46th precinct.
According to police, on Wednesday, March 30, at 10.55 p.m. inside Fordham Road Station, the victim, a 45-year-old woman, got involved in a verbal dispute with the man who produced a knife and slashed her in the face. According to the police report, “the man fled the subway system, topside.” The victim was transported in stable condition by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was treated for a laceration.
Photos and video are attached. They show the man inside a bodega located at 221 East 188th Street, also in Fordham Heights, after the incident.
