Fordham Heights: Male Sought in Machete Assault

The NYPD is seeking the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who they say is sought in connection to an assault that occurred in Fordham Heights.

Police said that on Tuesday, July 4, at around 10.55 p.m., the person approached a 22-year-old male victim in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue and East 180th Street and struck him in the head and right hand with a machete.

“EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in serious but stable condition,” police said.
