The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photos who they say are sought in connection with a gang assault and robbery of two teenage girls that occurred in Fordham Heights.
Police said that on Friday, Jan. 26, at around 7.05 p.m., inside a business located at 116 East Fordham Road, two victims, a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl, got involved in a verbal dispute with a group of people. Businesses on the block are pictured below.
Police said the dispute escalated into a physical altercation and acting in concert, the group punched and kicked the victims repeatedly, causing injuries to them and also removed both victim’s property. “The individuals fled on foot eastbound on Fordham Road toward Grand Concourse,” police said.
They said the 15-year-old victim sustained injuries to the face and body and was taken by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, while the 17-year-old victim didn’t report sustaining any physical injuries.
