The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photo who department officials said are sought in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred in Fordham Heights.
Police said that on Saturday, March 18, at approximately 1 a.m., four people approached a 30-year-old male victim walking down Creston Avenue at East 181st Street.
They said the group punched the victim repeatedly before stealing his wallet which they said contained $50. “The four individuals were last seen fleeing northbound on Creston Avenue,” police said. “The victim suffered bruising to his face and back and was removed to St. Barnabas Hospital by EMS in stable condition.”
Police said the first suspect is described as male, is around 25 years old, has a light complexion, is around 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and has a thin build. They said he was last seen wearing a dark-colored, hooded jacket, gray pants, and black sneakers.
They said the second individual is described as a male in his teens with a light complexion, is around 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and has a thin build. They said he was last seen wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
Police said the third suspect is described as male, is around 25 years of age, has a medium complexion, is approximately 6 feet tall, and has a medium build. They said he was last seen wearing a black mask, a blacked hooded sweatshirt, a red vest, dark colored pants, and black sneakers.
They said the fourth suspect is described as a male in his 30s with a light complexion, is around 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and has a heavy build. They said he was last seen wearing a black hat, sunglasses, a black jacket, dark colored pants, and white and red sneakers.
