A 28-year-old female police officer has been arrested in the 46th Precinct, police said.
The 46th Precinct covers some or all of the Bronx neighborhoods of Fordham, University Heights, Morris Heights, and Mount Hope.
A police spokesperson said that on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 5.57 a.m., the off-duty cop, Yulissa Santana-Rosario, was arrested on a charge of assault.
A person arrested and charged with a crime is deemed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
