The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual seen in the attached photo who is sought in connection to an assault that occurred in Edenwald section of The Bronx.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, April 12, at approximately 7 p.m., at the corner of East 225th Street and Laconia Avenue (Edenwald NYCHA Development) in Edenwald, the unidentified individual approached a group of people and displayed a gun. He proceeded to shoot several rounds, striking a 15-year-old girl in the leg.
EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition. The suspect fled to parts unknown. No other injuries were reported, following the incident.
