Edenwald: Man Sought following Groping Incident aboard MTA Bus

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the man seen in the attached video and photos who is sought in connection to a groping incident that occurred on a bus in the Edenwald section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Thursday, July 28, at approximately 7.03 p.m., the victim, a 27-year-old woman, was sitting on a Westchester-bound, Bee-line Bus #319 while at the intersection of Marolla Place and Boston Road. A man sitting next to the victim placed his hand under her dress and forcibly squeezed her buttocks.

 

The man then got off the bus and fled on foot to parts unknown. There were no physical injuries reported as a result of the incident.


The assailant is described as male, is estimated to be in his forties, has a dark complexion, a heavy build, and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with black lettering on the front, gray shorts, white socks, gray sneakers and a green and gold color cap.

 

Surveillance video and photos showing the man, obtained from inside the MTA bus where the incident took place, are attached.
