The clinics took place at YMCA branches in The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, and were a part of an ongoing partnership between the three organizations centered around Saturday Night Lights (SNL), the youth development and violence prevention program providing free sports and fitness activity for more than 1,100 youth at 17 YMCA locations across New York City.

At the clinics across the four boroughs, participants got the opportunity to strengthen their ball handling and shooting skills and meet former Knicks, John Starks and Larry Johnson.
