Eastchester: Woman, 60, Dragged from Car & Assaulted, Car Robbed

NYPD officials are asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photo who they say is sought in connection with an assault and auto theft that occurred in Eastchester.

 

Police said that on Monday, July 24, at around 1.10 p.m., in the vicinity of Reed Mill Lane and Steenwick Avenue, a man approached a 60-year-old female victim while she was seated in her vehicle. They said he proceeded to forcibly open the victim’s car door, dragged her out of her vehicle, punched and kicked her.

 

They added, “The individual then entered the vehicle and drove away on Steenwick Avenue. The victim was taken to Montefiore Medical Center by EMS in stable condition.”

NYPD OFFICIALS ARE asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in this photo who they say is sought in connection with an assault and auto theft that occurred in Eastchester.

Police said the person sought is described as male, has a light complexion, is around 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and has a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing a white head scarf, a white t-shirt, dark colored pants, and light colored sneakers. They said the vehicle is a black 2015 Toyota Rav4 SUV with New York Registration 552279.
