The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who is sought in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the Eastchester section of The Bronx.
Police said it was reported to them that on Monday, Jan. 30, at around 10.40 p.m. in front of 1546 East 233rd Street, the gunman approached a 36-year-old male victim and asked him to come towards him. He then shot the victim multiple times, striking him in both legs.
“The armed individual then entered a black Chevrolet sedan and fled the location, traveling eastbound on East 233 Street,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi in stable condition.”
According to police, the suspect is described as male, is of a medium build, has a dark complexion, a black beard and a mustache. Police said he was last seen wearing a black hat, a white and black, hooded sweatshirt, a black, hooded winter jacket, white pants, and black and white sneakers.
Police shared the attached surveillance photos of the suspect which they said were obtained from the incident location.
