East Bronx: Man Wanted in Connection with Shooting of 59-Year-Old Man in the Back

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual in the attached surveillance photos who is wanted for questioning in connection to an assault/non-fatal shooting that occurred in the 47th precinct in the East Bronx.

On Monday, August 3, 2020, at approximately 5.20 a.m., at the intersection of Burke Avenue and White Plains Road in the East Bronx, the unidentified individual discharged a firearm striking a 59-year-old man in the back. The suspect fled in a blue Honda sedan in a southbound direction on White Plains Road.

The victim was removed by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in critical but stable condition.

 

Photos of the individual wanted for questioning in connection to his incident are attached and available at the NYPD.
