Crime File: Push-In Robbers Wanted in Bedford Park

Push-In Robbery
Two armed men are wanted for forcing their way into an apartment in Bedford Park, tying up the victims, and burning one of them with an iron. Police said this happened at 1 p.m. inside 400 E. Mosholu Pkwy. S. on Oct. 13. The victims, a 33-year-old woman and 45-year-old man, were tied with shoe laces, and pressed for money, which they did not give up. The men then took off, taking the victims’ cell phones with them. The woman was not hurt and the other victim declined medical attention.

Video surveillance captured one of the suspects wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt.

Serial Box Cutter Robber
The 52nd Precinct is still trying to track a serial burglar wanted for holding a 22-year-old woman with a box cutter before taking her cell phone and $60. Police say it happened insider her building on Reservoir Oval on Aug. 26 at around 6:45 p.m. 


 

 

 

On Sept. 14 around 1:20 a.m., the suspect approached another victim, this time at 2675 Creston Ave., using a boxcutter. In this case, the victim fought back but was overpowered by the suspect who dragged her out of the building and punched her in the face several times. The thief fled the scene with the victim’s bag that contained her MacBook laptop and wallet.

Missing Man
The 52nd Precinct needs help finding Hector Reyes, 59, was last seen at the Fantasy Lounge Bar at 23 Tremont Ave. on Oct. 5. Reyes is described as HIspanic, standing at 5’ 7″ and weighing 190lbs.

 

 


Bainbridge Ave. Burglary
Surveillance video captured a
man who broke into a commercial vehicle parked at the corner of East 207th Street and Bainbridge Avenue in Norwood, taking $4,000 and taking off.
