The NYPD shared the attached video and is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the vehicle and driver, the latter being sought in connection to allegedly leaving the scene of the accident, which occurred in the 42nd precinct.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, June 5, at approximately 4.25 p.m. in front of 1711 Boone Avenue, the 12-year-old girl was crossing the street when she was hit by a vehicle which then fled the location. “The victim sustained lacerations and bruising throughout the body and was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition,” police said. “The vehicle is described as a dark colored BMW sedan,” they added.
