  The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance video and photos regarding an assault that occurred in the 52nd precinct.   It was reported to police that on Friday, May 14, 2021 at around 11.45 a.m., at the northeast corner of Van Cortlandt Avenue East and Bainbridge Avenue in Norwood, aboard the BX#28 bus which was heading towards Bay Plaza, the suspect approached a 67-year-old woman sitting in her wheel chair, and with a closed fist, struck the victim in the face, before exiting the bus. Reminder of Alternate Side Parking Updates

As a reminder, in accordance with alternate side parking (ASP) reform, streets without parking meters will be cleaned no more than once per week, per side. Bridge Lift Testing at RFK Bridge Scheduled for May 7 and May 14

Intermittent, full closures at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge (Harlem River Lift Bridge) to and from Manhattan are scheduled on Friday, May 7, and Friday, May 14, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge lifts to test mechanical functionality and allow completion of routine preventative maintenance.   Each closure lasts approximately 20 minutes.
