Olinville: 17-Year-Old Male Charged in Fatal Shooting of Second 17-Year-Old

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Bronx Street, Bridge Closures and General Transportation Updates as of April 16 through 2026

New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), the MTA, NYC Department of Transportation (DOT), New York City Department of Design & Construction (DDC), the NYPD, and other government agencies and private entities have shared the following street and bridge closures and transportation updates for The Bronx through 2026, as of Sunday, April 16.   Eastern Boulevard Bridge Single-lane northbound traffic will be closed Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 10 p.m. to 6.30 a.m. the next morning through April 28. Three Sought for Armed Robbery at Mosholu Parkway Subway Station

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying three people wanted in connection to a robbery and assault that occurred at Mosholu Parkway subway station on the border of Jerome Park and Norwood.    Police said that on Friday, April 14, at around 4.55 a.m., a 52-year-old male victim was walking up the staircase into the Mosholu Parkway subway station, serving the 4 line, located at Jerome Avenue and Mosholu Parkway South, when three unidentified individuals who were unknown to him approached him.   They said the first placed the victim into a headlock and displayed a box cutter. UPDATE University Heights: Two Arrested in Early Morning Shooting of Two Youths

  Police said two people have been arrested in the case of the non-fatal shooting of two teenagers in University Heights in April. Norwood: Man Races Motorbike in Oval, Balancing on Back Wheel as Kids Play Nearby

UPDATE Morris Park: 64-Year-Old Male E-Cyclist Killed in Hit & Run Incident
