Van Cortlandt Village: Woman Dies Apparently after Fall from Bike

A woman has died after an apparent fall from her bicycle in Van Cortlandt Village, police have confirmed.   On Friday, June 11, at approximately 12.29 in the afternoon, police were informed of an unconscious cyclist, lying on the roadway along the paved bike path in Van Cortlandt Park, near Dickinson Avenue, located in the 50th precinct.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 56-year-old woman lying on the roadway/bike path, unconscious and unresponsive with head trauma. Fordham Manor: Three-Vehicle Car Accident Causes Damage but No Injuries

  The NYPD confirmed an accident involving three vehicles occurred at Fordham Road and Webster Avenue on the border of Fordham Manor and Fordham Heights, last weekend.
