East 144th Street between Gerard Avenue and Exterior Street: This street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Nov. 30 to facilitate crane operation. East 149th Street Service Road between Dead End and Exterior Street: This street will be closed 24/7 through December 8 to facilitate new building construction. East 162nd Street between Park Avenue and Courtlandt Avenue: This street will be closed Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Nov. 29

The New York bureau of the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory, effective Friday, Oct. 29, from 2 p.m. through Saturday, Oct. 30 at 6 a.m. East winds of between 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph are expected in across New York in Manhattan, Southern Nassau, Staten Island, The Bronx, Northern Nassau, Northern Queens, Southern Queens and Brooklyn. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Due to recent rainfall and a saturated ground, there may be a few uprooted trees.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying two individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred in Williamsbridge, located in the 47th precinct. Gov. The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is advising motorists of a daytime closure of the entrance ramp from southbound Sheridan Boulevard to the southbound Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95) in the Bronx, on or about Saturday, Oct. 23 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Inclement weather could cause this closure to be rescheduled.
