Despite the few accomplishments that we had, 2022 was filled with disappointments, empty promises, and uncertainty. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a coastal flood warning which is in effect until Friday, Dec. 23 at 1 p.m., and a wind advisory which is in effect until 10 p.m. on Friday. Health Commissioner Issues Advisory NYC health commissioner, Dr. Ashwin Vasan, issued a new advisory on Dec. 9 as NYC faces high levels of a triple onslaught of COVID-19, flu, and RSV cases. Two 11-year-old girls are recovering from their injuries at Jacobi hospital following a hit & run incident in the Belmont section of The Bronx, police said.
