The NYPD Bomb Squad has deemed a grenade found in the Edenwald section of The Bronx inert. The incident occurred on Friday, Dec. 9, at around 4 p.m. at 3917 Wilder Avenue. The NYPD bomb squad responded to a bomb scare in the Williamsbridge Oval in the Norwood section of The Bronx on Thursday morning, Dec. 8, at around 11 a.m. police said. New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced the launch, on Sept. 14, of The People’s Money initiative, a citywide participatory budgeting process, whereby New Yorkers decide how to spend allotted funds to improve their local communities.
