Abandoned Pitbull Rescued by Allerton Residents & Placed for Adoption Later Euthanized by ACC
After an “extremely hungry” and “dehydrated” pitbull was found abandoned in the Allerton section of The Bronx on Saturday, May 4, and was later placed in the care of Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), the pitbull in question was later euthanized by the center, much to the devastation of the local residents who helped rescue him.

In Election 2024, based on polling data and supporting policies important to the LGBTQ+ community, Democratic U.S. President Joe Biden shows a leg up on former U.S. President and Republican presidential nominee for 2024, Donald Trump, with LGTBQ+ voters. “LGTBQ+ voters are key in the 2024 Election,” said Kelley Robinson, president of The Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBTQ+ right groups in the United States. “We’re going to be the deciding factor.”

Workers for “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress” announced on June 10 the ratification of a new collective bargaining agreement. Democratic City Council Member Eric Dinowitz (C.D. 11) announced on June 20 that he successfully championed the upcoming co-naming of the intersection of E. 204th Street and Bainbridge Avenue in Norwood as “Sandra Pabon Way” in honor of the late Sandra Pabon who had served as the chaplain of the 49th Precinct Clergy Council, as well as Democratic District Leader and Democratic State Committee Woman in Assembly District 80. As reported, Pabon died in June 2023.
