UPDATE Two Bike Thieves Sought in Bronx Theft Pattern

The NPYD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photos who they say are wanted in connection to a pattern of theft identified across the 44th, 48th, and 52nd Precincts in Highbridge, Fordham Manor, Mt. Eden, West Farms and Tremont, in recent weeks.

UPDATE Montefiore Nurses Rally to Oppose Planned Cuts

Montefiore Bronx-based nurses held a rally organized by the NYS Nurses Association on Friday, Feb. 28, at 111 East 210th Street in Norwood, outside the private hospital group’s Moses campus. They said their goal was “to save hospital beds and services, and end overcrowding in the emergency departments and hospital floors at Montefiore Moses and Weiler.” The Montefiore Weiler campus is located in Morris Park.

Bronx Basketball Player Proves to be the Sharpest 3-Point Shooter in 3V3 Tournament

Twelve-year-old Crystal, a student attending Boston Secor Community Center’s “Roads to Success” cornerstone program in Easchester, proved to be the sharpest 3-point shooter during a basketball shoot-out contest held on Feb. 20 at The Post in Brooklyn. The event was part of the Roads to Success Annual Basketball 3V3 Tournament, which brought together middle school students from The Bronx, Harlem and Brooklyn.
