UPDATE Norwood: Water Main Burst Causes Major Flooding on Webster Avenue

An apparent burst to a water mains pipe caused major flooding and havoc to both residents and local businesses in the vicinity of Webster Avenue, East 201st Street, Mosholu Parkway South, and Bedford Park Boulevard in Norwood / Bedford Park on Monday night, Dec. 16, according to eyewitness accounts. Several cars in the area were seen semi-submerged in water amid the flooding.

Allerton: Three Charged in Fentanyl/Heroin Packaging Operation in The Bronx

Federal prosecutors announced on Dec. 4, that three people were charged in a fentanyl/heroin packaging operation in the Allerton section of The Bronx. They said the bust was part of an ongoing investigation into fentanyl/heroin trafficking in New York City, and that federal, state, and local law enforcement officers recovered over 13 pounds of drug mixtures, including fentanyl, heroin, xylazine, methamphetamine, and cocaine, from inside the packaging mill.
