UPDATE Edenwald Man Shot Dead by Police after Apparent Multiple Stabbing of Family Members in Queens Home

Five family members have died, including one deceased perpetrator who police say is from the Edenwald section of The Bronx and is a cousin to some of the family members, following a multiple stabbing incident, residential fire, and police shooting in the Far Rockaway section of Queens in the early hours of Sunday morning, Dec. 3. Two police officers and another family member were also injured in the incident.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Monday, Nov. 27, that a Bronx woman has been charged with assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly deliberately giving her 3-year-old daughter anti-seizure medication the child did not require.
