Asylum seeking families in The Bronx received a wide range of medical check-ups on Saturday, Nov. 5, through a humanitarian, volunteer-based initiative coordinated by North Central Bronx Hospital, Metro Plus, and Bronx Works. New WIC Center Opens in East Tremont as Bronx Continues to Lead in Food Insecurity

Public Health Solutions (PHS), a Manhattan-based 501C corporation opened a new Neighborhood WIC center in the East Tremont section of The Bronx on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Youngsters were treated to an end-of-summer party as Friends of Devoe Park (FoDP) hosted their first ‘Peace Rally and Back-to-School Giveaway,’ in Devoe Park on Saturday, Sept. 10. Fordham Heights: NJ Man Charged in Fatal 2020 Hit & Run of Food Delivery Worker, Victorio Hilario-Guzman

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Oct. 19 that a New Jersey man was charged with recklessly driving on the Grand Concourse, leading to the death of Bronx food delivery worker, Victorio Hilario-Guzman, in 2020.   In the context of the announcement, Clark said, “The defendant accelerated and ran a red light, striking a food delivery worker on a bicycle.
