NY Lottery: 2nd Top-Prize Winning Ticket Sold in Allerton in 10 Days

The New York Lottery announced on Saturday, Feb. 24, a top-prize winning ticket was sold in The Bronx for the Feb. 23 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing. The ticket was sold at RANCH MINI MARKET & DELI INC., located at 2739 White Plains Road in Allerton just southeast of the Parkside Housing Project and was worth $38,846.50.

Ice Spice is People’s Choice

Rising female Bronx rapper, Ice Spice, took home the 2024 People’s Choice Award for New Artist of the Year at the 49th People’s Choice Awards held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Sunday, Feb. 19.  The Fordham native saw off competition from Coi Leray, Jelly Roll, Jung Kook, Noah Kahan, Peso Pluma, PinkPantheress and Stephen Sanchez.
