The intersection of Mosholu Parkway and East Bainbridge Avenue was transformed into showgrounds for an open air circus, last month, in celebration of Earth Day, as the parkway was cleared of cars as part of a citywide Department of Transportation (DOT) Car Free Day, marking, once again, the annual event which promotes more sustainable living. Bloomberg Philanthropies Provides Funding to Boost Children’s Summer Learning

DOE Expansion of Gifted & Talented Program to All 32 School Districts Starts May 31

Schools Chancellor David Banks and Mayor Eric Adams announced the expansion of New York City Department of Education’s (DOE) Gifted & Talented program for the school year 2022-2023 on April 14.
