Norwood Cluster Site Still Housing Homeless Despite Closure

By DAVID CRUZ On a recent Monday night, stereo sound clamored at an apartment unit at 15-19 W. Mosholu Pkwy. N., which until recently housed a cluster site homeless shelter. It was 11:30 at night, and the sound roared into the apartment unit of Sandra Tovar, one of several rent-paying tenants burdened by rowdy neighbors.

52nd Precinct Celebrates One Member’s Centennial Celebration

Kids to Rock Out at the Williamsbridge Oval June 21

Expect graduating fifth graders from Bronx Community Charter drum their hearts out at Williamsbridge Oval Park this weekend as part of a major, coordinated effort to bring musical arts to the forefront. It’s all part of Make Music New York will take place on Sunday, June 21, the start of a long, and fun summer. The musical festival is part of a large scale performance happening across city, with organizers promoting more than 1000 free concerts that day. Similar events will happen at 700 cities worldwide.
