“Slaughtery” Gang Members Charged with 14 Shootings, Slashing of Rival in Courthouse, Bragged Online
Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark and New York City Police Commissioner Edward A. Caban announced on Friday, Aug. 2, that 20 people, including five teens, have been charged with various violent crimes that include 14 shootings in the Fordham Heights, Kingsbridge, Highbridge, and Morris Heights areas, as well as a brutal slashing of a young woman outside the “youth part” courtroom inside the Bronx Criminal Court’s Hall of Justice. Prosecutors said at least some of the gang members are seemingly influenced by drill rap music and posted menacing videos on social media about some of the shootings taunting their gang rivals.
Fourteen Alleged “1300” Gang Members/Associates Charged with Multiple Bronx Shootings, Carjackings
Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark and New York City Police Commissioner Edward A. Caban announced on Friday, Aug. 2, that 15 people, including 14 alleged members and associates of the “1300” gang, were charged under two separate indictments for allegedly conspiring to commit various violent crimes committed across The Bronx, including attempted murder (shooting), conspiracy and gang assault. One of the victims was a teenage girl and another an older adult. One of the associates is also charged separately for shooting four people and the group were also involved in a spate of carjackings and and a gang assault on an off-duty police officer.

UPDATE Fordham Manor: Police Release Photo of Suspect after Fatal Stabbing in Apartment Building
The NYPD has relased a video and photo of a suspect wanted in connection with the murder that occurred in Fordham Manor on Wednesday afternoon, July 31. They are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the man who is described as male, has a medium complexion, a slim build, and braids. They said he was last seen wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a tan t-shirt, and white and black sneakers, and was last seen going northbound on University Avenue on foot to parts unknown.
