The University Neighborhood Housing Program (UNHP) was created in 1983 by Fordham University to help Bronxites take ownership of community-based redevelopment efforts. An off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged in the 50th Precinct on Saturday, police said. An NYPD spokesperson said that on Saturday, May 13, Eriverto Carino, 24, an off-duty NYPD Officer was arrested within the boundaries of the 50th Precinct, which falls under the command of Captain Filastine Srour and covers the neighborhoods of Kingsbridge, Marble Hill, Riverdale, Fieldston, and Spuyten Duyvil, as well as Van Cortlandt Park. The event takes place at University Avenue and Reservoir Avenue (at Fort Washington Walk) in Jerome Park, on Saturday, May 13, at 1 p.m. and all are welcome to attend.
